Webcast | 2018 | March | Estimating Production and Drainage Volume From Multiple Stacked Wells – A Permian Case Study

Presenter: Hasan Shojaei, PhD, Reservoir Engineer

Date: March 6, 2018

Title: Estimating Production and Drainage Volume From Multiple Stacked Wells – A Permian Case Study

Description:  In this webcast, we will explain how microseismic-derived permeability enhancement results are integrated with PVT, core and well-log data to build a detailed reservoir simulation model for an 8-well pad in the Permian. We will describe how individual well productivities (PIndex) are predicted and subsequently calibrated using actual production data (i.e., history matching). Then we will show how the resulting reservoir drainage patterns (DIndex) were used to evaluate wellbore spacing and completion designs.
