“We are pleased to have Mark join our senior management team and excited about Mike’s new role in the company,” said Terry Jbeili, COO of MicroSeismic. “At a time when we have doubled in size over the last year, Mark brings significant data analysis and processing management experience to the leadership group and his addition enables Mike to focus on our extensive technology development program. Their expertise will enable us to realize our strong growth plans and ensure that MicroSeismic’s analysis and technology products continue to lead as the most accurate and reliable in the industry.”

Mark Murphy has more than 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career with Geosystems as a Junior Seismic Processor and Field Engineer in Australia. His experience spans seismic data acquisition, processing, technical geophysical development, IT and software development and business and operational management. Prior to joining MicroSeismic he was Production Manager for US Imaging at CGG Veritas.

“I am excited to be working with MicroSeismic,” stated Mark Murphy. “Just as with traditional seismic data, microseismic data analysis requires flawless quality of imaging as well as exceptional customer service. I look forward to exceeding our client expectations with the help of this extremely talented analysis team.”

Murphy has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from University of Central Queensland and a Post Graduate Diploma in Geophysics from University of Queensland in Australia.

“I look forward to this new role with MicroSeismic,” said Mike Mueller. “I am excited to be expanding MicroSeismic’s geoscience and engineering capabilities to create more value for our customers. Out of our focus on completions optimization and reservoir monitoring solutions, we will be providing more cross-disciplinary insights in less time to our customers.”

Mueller has been with MicroSeismic since 2010 helping lay the groundwork for the development of the company’s industry leading processing and interpretation capabilities. He has worked in a variety of asset management and technology development roles in the oil and gas industry including GoM Deepwater Appraisal Well Planning Coordinator and North American Gas Strategic Performance Unit Technology Manager with BP.
