Microseismic, Inc. the world leader in passive seismic data acquisition and analysis announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Crest Energy Service Corporation of Houston Texas. Under the terms of the agreement, Crest (which partners with Vantage Geophysical Corp. in providing geophysical services) will take ownership of MSI’s wireline vehicles and all associated equipment related to downhole seismic acquisition. Crest Energy Services will continue to acquire downhole microseismic data as part of the MSI suite of services under MSI’s supervision. Crest will also use the equipment for its proprietary VSP and other related downhole seismic services.
