It’s the time of year to reflect on what we are thankful to have (hopefully while eating a slice of pumpkin pie!). What are we thankful for this year? We’re thankful for our customers, who continually drive us to work on new ideas to meet their needs. We’re thankful for our contractors, working as our trusted partners this year and in many years past. And last but not least, we’re grateful for our people, who have remained committed to our vision, the technology, and safety throughout the recent challenging years. With a focus on the latter, safety is a mindset here at MSI and achievements made this year by our people are appreciated and celebrated.
With the support of our leadership team and commitment to safety by our employees, contractors, and customers, MicroSeismic has achieved 2 years without a recordable incident and 1.7 million man hours without a lost time injury. In 2017, we also instituted our Rules to Live By, which guide employees, contractors, and customers in best practices for safety throughout their work and home environments. The program is surging forward with success and striving for continued improvement in safety practices within MicroSeismic’s culture.
“We truly appreciate our people for remaining committed to our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management System, upholding our culture of safety and excellence, and completing our operations with minimal environmental impact,” says Geoff Pettinger, HSE manager for MicroSeismic, Inc.
“As things continue to look up, we could not have made it this far without the support of our customers and, more importantly, our people,” said Peter Duncan, president and CEO of MicroSeismic, Inc.
We are all slowly recovering from a downturn. So, it is important (now more than ever) to maintain a spirit of gratitude that extends to everything we do and celebrate the milestones achieved. Let us pause to give thanks for each other, for improving market conditions, and for pumpkin pie!
