Dr. Michael Thornton

Vice President Data Analysis

Thornton obtained his Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Houston and his M.S and B.S in Geophysics from Texas A&M University. He has 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, he has spent 6 years in management roles for Veritas DGC. Since 2003 he has managed a processing staff of 20-25. Previously, he worked for Exxon/Mobil for 11 years where he served as a research geophysicist, processing geophysicist and processing analyst. He joined MSI in February, 2007.
