ISSUE
Ambiguity of proppant placement during stimulation

WELL SPEC
12,500' depth, 1,500' lateral length, 2 frac stages monitored

Initial microseismic activity shows significant fracture growth in the direction of maximum principle stress and at a significant fracture half length. Monitored activity during the proppant ramps in the mid and later portion of the job is located mostly near the wellbore, indicating the bulk of the proppant load was placed close to the wellbore. Observed high initial post-stimulation production, but with a rapid decline, supports this interpretation.
